IDA Comedy Night is one of the largest student events organised by IDA.

Every year thousands of students join us for an evening filled with laughter, shared experiences and new connections.

FAQ

Do I need to know Danish?

Not at all. This is an event especially curated for our international student members.

The comedians will all perform in English, our hosts will greet you in English and there will be opportunities to mingle with others before and after the show.

Can I come alone?

Yes, absolutely.

Should you want to bring someone, you can buy a ticket for them as a +1 in the app at a companion price.

Who are the comedians?

Annie Rection from Comedy Queens: A one-of-a-kind drag queen invites you to a comedy show that’s a bit out of the ordinary. A little more wig, a little less white T-shirt. Annie will treat you to glitter, stand-up improv and lip-syncs.

Almost Danes: Expats performing about living in Denmark, loving it and almost integrating. If you constantly wonder about what your Danish peers are talking about, get ready for some relatable jokes and insights into the Danes.

Do I need to be an IDA member?

The event is open for all, but we offer a special discount to student members.

And IDA members can bring a +1 to the event by buying an add-on at a reduced rate.

Where can I get the ticket?

Just download IDA app. There, you can navigate to Events, find the international comedy event and buy the ticket directly in the app.

The ticket will be saved in the app, so you can show it upon arrival at the venue.

Is this a networking event?

No, this is purely a social event. You are not required to brush up on your elevator pitch. Just bring yourself and your funny bone.

You might meet some new people that you want to talk to, but there is no pressure to perform. Let the comedians do their bit and you can relax and enjoy the show and the perks of being a student member of IDA.
