IDA’s budget template

Plan your monthly budget as a student

Once you have an overview of your income and expenses, you can create a detailed budget plan. Divide your expenses into categories such as housing, food, insurance, transport, education, and entertainment.

Remember to set aside a small amount for unforeseen expenses – this provides financial security. This way, you avoid having to forgo anaesthesia at the dentist or say no to a pleasant dinner with your study group due to a tight budget.

Take a look at our budget example and create your own based on the template.
