If you're studying science, IT or engineering, there's a good chance that IDA is for you.

Which programmes does IDA accept?

We accept students enrolled in bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes in engineering, IT and the natural sciences.

We also accept students studying to become a diploma engineer (Diplomingeniør), master of science in engineering (Civilingeniør), or academy engineer (Akademiingeniør).

In addition, we accept students enrolled in professional bachelor’s degree programmes within engineering, IT and the natural sciences, provided that the programme is academically equivalent to the higher education programmes listed above.

If your programme does not clearly fall into one of the categories above and you’re unsure whether it qualifies you for membership, you can check through our membership application form.

Simply select “Student” and then choose your educational institution to see the list of eligible programmes.
